Im trying to build mozilla 1.0.0 but it fails.
some projects generate errors while compiling.

But 6 mouth ago, i build version 0.9.5 without any problems.

I checked in mozilla.org if I need to update something but theres nothing
different since the last time i check.

Do I need to update something?
Some modules or the Universal Headers?

Thank you.

Eric.

You're going to have to supply more information, we're not mindreaders :)

- what platform?
- what compiler?
- what tools? (perl version, etc)
- what are the errors?
- did you start with a fresh build, or did you update from CVS?

The build system *has* changed greatly in the last 6 months. To build
Mozilla now you should be using CodeWarrior 7(.2), not CodeWarrior 5,
which would have been correct in the 0.9.5 timeframe.

sorry.
ok here's some info...

5-6 month ago i made a build of mozilla 0.9.5 Mac Carbon Opt with
CodeWarrior 7
I follow all the instructions in mozilla.org/build/mac by installing all the
modules and updates...
no problem here.

Then, today,
i decided to pull a fresh new mozilla version out and build it with the same
perl environment that i used for 0.9.5 but
i got errors (I can't remember where exactly). So i thought about updating
the folder Universal in CodeWarrior by downloading the latest in
developer.apple.com. (Universal v3.4.1)
With the new headers it worked fine but stop here with this error:
.......
Building "Drive2:Mozilla
1.0.0:mozilla:rdf:macbuild:_rdf.mcp[RDFLibrary.shlb]"
Building "Drive2:Mozilla
1.0.0:mozilla:xpinstall:macbuild:_xpinstall.mcp[xpinstall.shlb]"
Building "Drive2:Mozilla
1.0.0:mozilla:xpinstall:cleanup:macbuild:_XPICleanup.mcp[XPICleanupCarbon]"
### Errors encountered building "Drive2:Mozilla
1.0.0:mozilla:xpinstall:cleanup:macbuild:_XPICleanup.mcp

And i must say that i updated the source from CVS like 3-4 times.

I hope this will help...

Thanks.
